Center for Sales Leadership logoThe Center for Sales Leadership began in April 2003 with a grant from 3M Corporation to establish a sales education curriculum at the university, selected based on its size, diverse student population and faculty with business experience.

The mission of the Center for Sales Leadership is to connect the best students with the best companies. Arguably the largest sales education program in the nation, the Center for Sales Leadership graduates approximately 150-175 graduates each year with the full concentration or minor in sales.

All program faculty members have excellent academic credentials, as well as significant business experience in the field of sales and marketing. The faculty has deep expertise in such areas as marketing, sales, finance, communications, sales technology, leadership, organization development, strategic planning, consulting and general management.

A number of corporate partners participate in the program to help design the curriculum, teach the students, provide financial support, and hire from the program. The inherent value for partners is the access to qualified students early in their matriculation through the program, providing an advance opportunity to identify and recruit those students that best fit their requirements and company culture.
