Student Mixers

Partners

Students: Request business cards here

The Sales Leadership Program conducts Student Mixers on a quarterly basis for students enrolled in a Sales Leadership course or enrolled in the Sales Leadership Program. Major Chicago area companies interested in hiring students attend each networking mixer. The mixer provides a unique opportunity for companies to meet and mingle with students who are actively seeking positions.

Every quarter Dr. Joel Whalen and Clancy Ryan, MBA, have a lecture immediately before the networking mixer instructing students on topics including managing anxiety, introducing yourself, shaking hands and creating and delivering an effective twenty second pitch. If you are not able to attend we have produced a video series of this entertaining lecture for your enjoyment.

Business cards are provided to our students as a courtesy. Each quarter a link to the business card sign up form is available here or under the Quick Links section on our homepage. These cards will be distributed at least one week before the networking mixer.

All students are required to attend the Mixers in business casual or business professional dress. For more information on the required dress code, please see the Sales Leadership Program Business Attire Guidelines.
